COMFORT, CLEANLINESS & CALM
A Purpose-Built Space
Just for Cats
We keep our space small and quiet, giving each cat plenty of room and attention. Units are clean, spacious and private with a consistent in layout, helping your furkid to settle quickly.
Our team encourages owners to bring familiar items, though we recommend limiting these so cats still have room to move. If your cat has special care needs, we’ll go over these with you during booking.
We don’t charge extra during school holidays or festive seasons.
Bookings during peak periods fill quickly, so it’s best to reserve early.
With 50 years of feline care behind us, we focus on what cats need to stay happy, calm and secure while you’re away.
FAQ
Everything You Need To Know
What should I pack for my cat when using a boarding service?
When boarding your cat, pack familiar items like their bed, blanket or a favourite toy to help reduce stress. Include any necessary medications with clear instructions. Some facilities allow food from home, while others provide meals. Always check what the cattery permits and avoid overpacking to keep the space clear for your cat to move comfortably.
Can cats get sick from staying at a boarding cattery?
While reputable boarding catteries follow strict hygiene and health protocols, there’s still a small risk of illness due to stress or exposure to new environments. Up-to-date vaccinations help reduce this risk. Look for facilities with private enclosures and no shared spaces to lower the chance of transmission and keep cats calm and healthy during their stay.
Do cats get lonely or stressed while boarding?
Cats can experience some stress when away from home, but a well-managed cattery can minimise this. Private enclosures, quiet surroundings and familiar items from home can help cats feel more secure. Most cats settle within a day or two, especially if staff follow consistent routines and provide gentle handling when needed.
