There’s something special about finding the right kitten — and at Carinya British in Cranley, just outside Toowoomba, we raise every litter with patience, care, and plenty of feline know-how. With years of cat breeding experience, we focus on healthy development, gentle handling, and a calm environment from the very beginning.

Each litter is carefully planned and then born and raised in our home.

All Carinya kittens are vaccinated x 2, wormed, microchipped and desexed before leaving for their forever homes. Occasionally, we may offer a kitten to a trusted registered breeder for inclusion on their breeding program but only breeders registered with either ACF, CCCA, ANCATS or CATS AUSTRALIA within Australia will be considered. We also register with FCCQ, so you will receive their Pedigree papers, as it is their birthright.

We don’t breed for volume or rush placements. Each kitten stays with us until they’re confident, well-socialised and ready for a loving home. We also have a new litter from JJ and Viyren who were born 16/5/26. There are 3 boys 2 girls with some being available when bigger. 

Kittens at Carinya British grow up in a peaceful, rural setting, in our home, with lots of love and attention — not in cages or confined spaces. We believe in giving them time to thrive before they’re placed in new homes. This approach helps each kitten adjust more easily to family life, especially when they’ve had exposure to gentle routines and quiet environments.

We spend time getting to know the temperament and personality of each kitten, so we can help match you with a companion that fits your household. Once kittens are available, we’ll share descriptions and photos to help you decide which ones to meet.
